As the colder weather draws nearer, we can finally show off all of our wonderful jewelry. By layering your Emily rings, necklaces, and bracelets, you may add excitement and interest to your regular clothes! We at Emily Amey are thrilled to share with you our comprehensive guide to stacking jewelry, whether you already have a collection of lovely fine jewelry to mix and match or are looking to build inspiration.
Although we would like to say that anything goes when stacking jewelry, there are a few techniques to master this fun art! We don't want you to appear like a kid who stole jewelry from their mother, after all. This is your chance to be imaginative and have fun with your jewelry while keeping in mind a few suggestions to preserve its quality.
Which rings should I wear the most? Wear more rings than you have fingers, we suggest! And don't be hesitant to mix different metals. Yellow gold, rose gold, and white gold can all be combined because they complement one another. For instance, according to Justine, you can wear a sparkly Lab-Grown Diamond Willow Band on top of a yellow gold Paris Vintage Band at the base, all on the same finger!
Layering on Different Fingers
A process of trial and error may be required to learn how to layer various rings. The size of the ring frequently dictates the order to stack rings. You might wish to wear three rings on the middle finger, two on the pointer, one larger item on the ring finger, and leave the pinky free of jewelry on the one hand. On the other hand, you could wear a midi ring on your pinky and wear three bands on the ring finger, a solitary ring on the pointer, no jewelry on the middle finger, and so on. The Deep V and Criss Cross Rings are two excellent choices for solitary rings. The fun thing about stacking bands is that nothing has to be worn in a certain order.
How to Size Stackable Rings
The sizing should be considered while buying a ring. My right hand's pointer finger is a size 6, and my ring finger is a size 4. On one finger, something will fit wonderfully, yet on another, it will fall off. We also want to point out that going up half a size may be a good idea if you plan to wear several rings on one finger because they will occupy more space.
Does Stacking Rings Damage Them?
When rings are stacked properly, they are not harmed. Even though we advise mixing metal hues, we advise sticking to the same metal types. Your rings will wear better and won't rub against each other if the metal type is the same. The rings may become scratched if you put an 18K metal band on top of a 14K gold band. Continue using the same metal type since nobody wants scratched jewelry! If you want to buy additional rings to stack with your preferred 14K ring, please be sure to get them all in that metal.
How to Stack Bracelets
When stacking bracelets, make sure they are very close to the spot on your wrist where you want them to rest. Diversifying with various metals and charms is enjoyable. A tennis bracelet, initial bracelet, and gold bangle are a set we suggest. We can resize bracelets to ensure that they are the ideal size for your wrist.
How to Layer Necklaces
Layering elevates necklaces to a whole new level with adorable chokers, stretched bezel chains, and personalized pendants. A shorter French halo pendant, a medium-length disc pendant, and a longer accentuated bezel necklace usually go well with 14k opal rings. Play once again with various metals! One necklace may have a charm, another may have a few little diamonds, and a third may be nothing more than a chain. Try out various necklace lengths, but always keep in mind the neckline of the shirt you intend to wear.
