Choose The Perfect Jewelry With These Tips

Do you know how to choose and style jewelry to compliment your wardrobe? How do you make the best out of your jewelry collection?

Don’t worry; we have developed tricks to help you be your best fashionable self.

You've got an overflowing jewelry collection filled with pieces you love (or have forgotten you love), but you’re not making the most of it, and you're not sure where to start. Or maybe you’re just not confident about which pieces to shop for to work with each other and for you.

Scale up your handmade opal rings collection with us.

We've all been there.

Let’s dive in.

1. Create Layers with Rings, Bracelets, or Necklaces

Experiment with something fun and try new lengths, shapes, textures, and colors to make the layers appealing. If you're layering necklaces, go to different lengths to draw the eye up to your face. Different shapes, colors, and textures will often work as a treat.

Experiment with wearing different earring styles if you have multiple piercings. Wear combined ear cuffs with other earrings.

Layering and stacking jewelry are easy. Try different combinations of necklaces and pendants to see what works for you.

2.  Know When To Stop

Sometimes too much is, well, too much.

If you're drawing attention to your face and neckline with layered necklaces or a statement necklace, you might not need an armful of bangles competing for attention.

If you're wearing a bold pair of statement earrings, your necklace could be more subtle or even absent entirely (on the other hand, a bold pair of earrings with a matching necklace can sometimes work beautifully).

3.  Don’t Forget to Change Your Earrings

Changing your earrings daily is a great way to add interest and style to your look. It's also an excellent opportunity to clean your favorite pair of earrings!

You can easily change your look by wearing various small stud earrings daily. Depending on your outfit, you can also add sparkle and movement with dangle earrings.

Start by going through your jewelry collection to see what you haven't worn in a while. You can also buy new pairs of earrings that catch your eye and add variety and interest to your jewelry collection.

4.  Extend Your Wardrobe by Experimenting

This can be a fun activity to do whenever you have some free time.

Simply put on a basic outfit and experiment with various jewelry and other accessories from your collection in front of a mirror. Experiment with different combinations of jewelry designs that you might not normally consider pairing together and different accessories such as scarves, bags, or watches.

Start with a single focal point, such as a statement piece, and then experiment with mixing, matching, stacking, and layering. Continue to experiment with different combinations and focal points.

5.  Don’t Be A Slave To Trends

We've all known someone who is a bit too obsessed with fashion. To some extent, trends influence what we wear, which is fine. However, the following fashion slavishly at the expense of your taste and personality is never a good idea. You'll eventually lose yourself. Oh, and it's also quite pricey!

Instead, try to discover and develop the style that suits you and makes you feel confident. That may become unfashionable at some point in the future, but if you own it, I'm sure you'll be fine.

And don't forget about your personality: we're all unique, and your personality should be allowed to shine through in the jewelry you wear and how you present yourself in general.

Bonus Tip: Clean Your Jewelry
